Dear Jorgen,
I have to model the behaviour of a TPU, that owns a non-linear hyperviscoelastic behaviour. I found the mathematical constitutive model in a lot of articles, such as that one by LM Yang "A visco-hyperelastic approach to modelling the constitutive behaviour of rubber". In the comparison between experimental and numerical results, there is good fitting in the data. However, in Ansys Ls-Dyna this model is described by the "viscous foam" which requires other parameters. My problem is how can I mathematically relate this two different models to characterise the material? Do you know which article or handbook could help me?
Thank you so much,
Giuliano

That is common problem. You have a few options:
- Use trial and error to find the parameters
- Write your own material parameter finding program
- Use a commercially available parameter finding program
